Yep: I remember it well!
Also, One of the things that turned my attention to 3D animation was seeing the "Entertainment Tonight" 3D logo fly-by. I knew about traditional animation, but couldn't guess, at the time, how even stop-mo models could be made to animate without any jitter... It was so smooth and otherworldly, though we take all of that well for granted now.
